Imbolc Blessings

If you think of the year like a breath Winter Solstice is that moment after exhale of stillness where your lungs are empty. Imbolc is the moment that you just begin to inhale. It’s that first intake of air. In the north it’s a time of wild swings in weather. Warm temperatures or blizzards are both possible. It’s a time in between. A time where the tender shoots of spring are just now beginning to emerge. It’s a time in between bare dark of winter and the lush light of spring. It’s a season of fire and water. A time where emerging new life still needs nourishment but also space to become what is. In this liminal time of Imbolc and dawn may you find wisdom, vision, and hope to bring the seeds sown into maturity.
