Spiritual Retreat Services
Interested in planning and/or creating a spiritual retreat? Rev. Joe is an experienced retreat leader, group facilitator, and experience curator. He loves to create experiences that harmonize with the energies of place and the season to facilitate healing, spiritual growth, renewal, and revival. He could collaborate on designing a retreat from start to finish or create a custom experience that goes with the flow and format of your vision.
Experiences he can adeptly lead are things such as:
Grounding and Centering exercises that help participants focus their energies, be fully present in the moment, and join in a group experience centered on love and discovery.
Teaching and workshops that allow participants to gain compelling and useful insights about their spiritual traditions, the world, and/or themselves. With an MDiv and PhD in sociology, Rev. Joe can teach on things as diverse as spiritual disciplines, theology, Druidry, Celtic spirituality, the bible, and anti-racism.
Guided meditation and soul journey experiences that assist participants in deep inner work for healing, peace, and renewal. These experiences can include drumming, chanting, and/or other types of stimulus to facilitate seekers entering non-ordinary states of mind for reflection and revelation.
Body listening for wisdom and discernment. It is a common misconception that spirituality and wisdom only live in our head. There is deep wisdom and truth to be found in listening to your body with intention and care.
Visioning for the future exercises that help participants get in touch with their heart’s true desire and discern meaningful and life giving ways forward.
Energy work and healing touch sessions for blessing and renewal. Rev. Joe works with modalities such as prayer and anointing and has developed a practice of attuning to the flow and direction of spiritual energy.
